Tempered glass is the most popular glass used for commercial door lite kits.

Used on both interior and exterior doors. For temperature control, we recommend the insulated tempered glass instead.

The tempered glass is available in the following sizes: 12″ x 12″, 6″ x 27″, 24″ x 30″, 24″ x 60″

Tempered glass characteristics:

• 1/4″ Thick Clear Heat Treated Glass
• Approximately 4 Times Stronger Than Annealed (Ordinary) Glass
• Breaks Into Small Harmless Fragments
• Can NOT Be Cut After Manufacturing
• 11″ Minimum Height
• NOT Fire-Rated
• STC 31 Rating
• Complies With IBC Requirements for Use in Doors.
• Meets ANSI Z97.1 Class A and CPSC 16CFR 1201
