Lite Kits

Commercial door glass kits or “lite kits” are essentially windows inside of a door that provide light to rooms and ensure safety and sightline for well-traveled corridor and office doors. We use an aesthetically pleasing “low profile” light kit, which we pre-install on the door – saving you valuable installation time. Glass kit includes the frame + glass + glazing tape. Finishes: Gray or Dark Bronze. Glass Types: 1/4″ clear tempered, 1″ clear insulated, or 1/4″ ceramic. (Only the ceramic option is fire rated).

Commercial door louvers are door vents that provide air ventilation between rooms or inside of closets. Louvered doors help ventilate rooms when closed while still providing privacy and security. Louvers are often used on doors within restrooms, wet rooms, utility rooms (electrical, mechanical, machinery), and any opening where ventilation is essential. Fire-rated steel doors are built to slow the spread of fire and smoke, providing critical protection for occupants and property. The required rating is determined by the fire-protection classification of the wall, which depends on its location in the building and applicable codes. Wide-angle lens for viewing outside without opening the door.

Smoke Seal

Self-adhesive silicone gasketing for door edges and frames.
Blocks smoke, drafts, sound, and air infiltration.
Required on fire-rated and life-safety doors.

Latch Guard

Heavy-duty metal plate installed on the door’s exterior.
Covers the gap between door and frame to block tampering.
Prevents forced entry by prying or manipulating the latch.
Common on exterior doors in offices, apartments, and retail stores.

Surface Bolt

Metal bolt mounted on the surface of a door.
Slides into a strike or header to secure the door closed.
Adds extra security or holds one leaf of a pair of doors fixed.
Common on double doors, storage rooms, and utility areas.

Door Stop (Kick Down)

Foot-operated stop mounted at the bottom of a door.
Swings down to hold a door open, up to release it.
Prevents doors from slamming and adds convenience.
Common in offices, classrooms, and light commercial spaces.
